Between 30 to 60 months, children really begin to grasp the reins of independence. As well as learning to feed and dress themselves, children also become more responsible for their personal hygiene - learning to use a toilet, to wash their hands and use a tissue when needed. As parents, guardians and teachers, we should enable children to grow, flourish and become independent under our protection.

"Introducing children to good hand and respiratory hygiene practices from an early age will equip them with life-long skills which are essential in the fight to reduce and protect them from infection."
Sharon White, Professional Officer, SAPHNA (School and Public Health Nurses Associaton)

Hygiene4Health activities have been designed by Sanofi Pasteur MSD in association with healthcare and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teaching professionals, to enable pre-school aged children to explore and understand the importance of hand and respiratory hygiene, through memorable and highly visual 'doing' and 'seeing' activities. Learning these key life skills in a positive and engaging environment, will help to stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

Unfortunately, teaching packs are no longer available for request. However all activity materials are still available to download via this website.
